Bramley Olympics 2016

On Tuesday the 21st of June, Academic Appointments attended the Bramley Olympics at John Charles Centre for Sport in South Leeds. It was a great occasion for the local young and aspiring talent to showcase their sporting skills and overall, was a fantastic day to attend and sponsor!

The Bramley cluster consists of 9 local primary schools within the area - Hollybush; Stanningley; Christ the King; Raynville; Whitecote; Bramley St. Peters; Bramley; Valley View; and Summerfield. The day was also supported by Active Schools Leeds; Leeds West Academy; and Leeds West School Sport Partnership.

There was a massive mix of events across the day covering both track and field and it was organised meticulously in order to make sure to day ran as smoothly as possible. We were also lucky enough to have England Sevens Rugby Union star Rob Vickerman present! Overall, we can conclude it was a huge success. Every single child out there was a winner, and it’s brilliant to see so many young and athletic pupils participating in sport and fitness. A few future stars in the making for sure!

All that’s left to say is congratulations to Valley View for the mighty victory.
