Academic Appointments are currently working in partnership with a Primary School in Leeds to appoint a Behaviour Support Worker.
This role would be working 1:1 with a pupil in KS2, who has Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). As this pupil can present challenging behaviours and has been known to throw objects, knowledge of Team Teach is beneficial for this role. However, there is no requirement to physically restrain.
This role is a full time, ongoing position and is due to start as the new academic year begins in September.
Due to the requirements of this role and needs of the pupils, we can only accept male applicants on this occasion.Experience
Previous experience of working with SEMH and challenging behaviourRequirements
- Ability to work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Team Teach desirable

- A valid DBS or willing to obtain
