Academic Appointments are looking for a Teacher of Mathematics to Key Stage 4 required with an immediate start to cover a long term sickness until July 2019 in an improving school on the Wakefield/Bradford border.
On the schools most recent Ofsted inspection the academy received 'Inadequate' however they were commended for their positive leadership and committed Acting Headteacher, who is already making a difference. An improved curriculum has also seen students improving their behaviour in classes and around school. With this in mind applicants must be prepared to work hard and push students, this will not be easy but it will be rewarding.
The ideal candidate would satisfy the following:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status or relevant teaching qualification
- Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject area
- Ability to teach Maths to Key Stage 4
- 2 x references from educational establishments
- A valid DBS that is subscribed to the update service
