Primary SEMH Teacher

Academic Appointments are supporting a Pupil Referral Unit in the Wakefield area looking to appoint an SEMH Teachers. These positions have imminent start dates and would be full time, ongoing positions. 

These roles would be working with challenging behaviours and social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Experience of working within a similar setting is essential. The ideal Teachers will hold qualified teacher status (QTS) in the UK and be Team Teach qualified. 

This provision focuses on re-engaging pupils in education and providing quality learning for all pupils, no matter what challenges they present. 

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working within a similar setting is essential
  • Holding Team Teach is advantageous
  • QTS is essential
  • Two satisfactory references
  • A valid DBS certificate subscribed to the update service, or be willing to obtain one
