SEND Teaching Assistants required for ad-hoc roles and longer term contracts!
Academic Appointments work in partnership with several special needs and alternative provisions across Bradford and Leeds to provide support assistants on a temporary and sometimes permanent basis.
A Team Teach qualification or other relevant training would be an advantage but again is not essential as Academic Appointments have two trained 'Team Teach' trainers who can offer this training and have a range of CPD courses available throughout the year.
Whilst working on supply you will experience working with pupils with challenging behaviour, so you must be confident and engage effectively with pupils who display this behaviour and keep them focused on their academic work.
This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone who wants to make a real impact on young pupil’s futures.
Experience is not essential but you must have relevant transferable skills, maybe from a care or voluntary background. If you are thinking about a move into education but are not sure how to go about it, still call us as we can offer advice.
The pay will range from between £60 a day to £80 dependant on experience.
If this is the job for you then please ‘Apply Now’ or, for more details contact Lucie on 01274 505 400 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
