Academic Appointments are currently working in partnership with a high achieving and successful Secondary Academy located in Wakefield to appoint a Teacher of English.
The school are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Teacher of English with high standards for behaviour to mirror the high expectations of the school. This is a full time, permanent teaching post, to start from September 2019. NQTs are welcome to apply!
In its last Ofsted inspection, the Academy was judged as ‘Good’. They have set high expectations to achieve ‘Outstanding’ in their next inspection.

- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Well qualified with an honours degree in a relevant subject
- 2 x references from educational establishments
- Proven track record of success at KS3 and KS4 in English
- A passion for Computing
- Ability to deliver outstanding and engaging lessons
